Tina joined Summit Accounting Solutions in November of 2016, as a Senior Staff Accountant for the Meridian, MS office of Summit.  She attended Mississippi State University where she earned a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy.

Prior public accounting work experience for Tina includes audit and tax.  She also spent several years as General Manager for an independent insurance agency, helping them navigate through two mergers before taking time off to homeschool her children.  The past three years of work have been in the fields of tax and accounting.

Tina has been active in the Meridian, MS community for years, as a business professional.  She is the wife of Gary James, Financial Advisor with Summit, and the mother to 4 children. In her spare time, Tina has a monogram and embroidery business from her home, enjoys sewing, perusing Pinterest, and cheering for her children from the sidelines of soccer fields and tennis courts.
